Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM system is effective in inter symbol interference caused by multipath fading especially in the case of wide band data transmission. Nevertheless, the delayed waves existing in a symbol degrade the system performance at the receiver. Therefore when OFDM applies to mobile radio communication system, we have to remove the influence without intricacy. This paper proposes a new estimation scheme for propagation characteristics using the characteristics of OFDM signal inserted pilot signal periodically. Using this scheme, it is possible to pre-equalize the received data before FFT and to become receiving circuit smaller. And we evaluate the estimation accuracy of the proposed scheme by computer simulation.
