Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Slow Frequency Hopping TDMA(SFH-TDMA) cellular system with convolutional coding and interleave, retain both orthogonality within same cell and interference averaging from other cells. When interference is averaged, capacity of cellular system can be estimated almost uniquely from received interference power and required Eb/(Io+No). If required Eb/(Io+No) is lower enough at SFH-TDMA system as well as at DS-CDMA system, capacity of SFH-TDMA system will be higher than that of DS-CDMA system, since DS-CDMA system has intra-cell co-channel interference. In case of SFH-TDMA system, weighting to received slots according to SINR measurement effect equivalent interference suppression, and this operation contribute to achieve lower required Eb/(Io+No). This paper propose some schemes to support SINR measurement.
