| Abstract(in English) | A satellite communications system for medical tele-education and emergency medicine was established and evaluated. Three trials for emergencies in medicine were conducted in 1997. They showed good availability of satellites for disasters. Thirty-seven series of medical lectures were also held in 1997 and 1998 using the satellite link. The mean number of accesses was 6.6per lecture. Moreover, the internet textbook from the lectures were made available for 24 hours use. |
