| 抄録(和) | 本発表では、移動体衛星通信システムの現状と将来動向について概説する。先ず、移動体通信システムの役割について陸上セルラーシステムの場合と比較し述べる。次に、移動体衛星通信システムの現状についてインマルサットシステムを取り上げ、そのネットワーク構成と各構成要素の働き、並びに現在運用中あるいは開発中の標準移動地球局について説明する。また、インマルサットシステムの将来動向についても概説する。最後に、携帯端末の利用を可能とする、周回衛星を用いたパーソナル衛星通信システムの概要とその開発現状について説明する。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, the role of mobile satellite communications is first described in comparing with that for the terrestrial based mobile communications. Second, this paper reviews the present status of mobile satellite communications focusing on Inmarsat standard systems currently operating and under development for providing various mobile satellite communications services to maritime, aeronautical and land users. Finally, this paper describes the recent developments in global personal satellite communications systems using non-geostationary orbiting satellites which allow the user to use a handheld terminal. |
