Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The paper investigates the burst scheduling to establish the synchronization of terminals of the global message services using nongeostationary multi-beam satellite systems. Under the system constraint that each satellite can use only one beam at a time slot, we estimate the time which was needed for sending a synchronization burst to every point on the surface of the earth. Then, we try to optimize the burst scheduling which makes an efficient use of satellite diversity. It is identified that efficiency of satellite diversity increases as sending time increase.
