Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) NTT has developed a multimedia interactive satellite communications system, in which it is combined the satellite link and the terrestrial link. In this paper, the effective encryption scheme which protect data sent through the satellite link from any unfair accesses is proposed. This encryption scheme protect data from not only others who can't use Multimedia Interactive Satellite Communications System but also other receiving station which can use this system. Further more, the way to exchange a key, proper key exchanging period and the structure of encryption section are examined.
