Abstract(in English) | Characteristics of phase jitter at the output of carrier recovery circuit using fourth power device for OQPSK is theoretically analized. An exact representation of autocorrelation function of its output phase variation assuming OQPSK signal of an arbitary waveform and bandlimited Gaussian noise is obtained. The rms phase jitter is numerically calculated in the case of a root Nyquist scheme as an example of bandlimitation. The rms phase jitter in the case of OQPSK is the same value as that of the QPSK case at α=0, and is smaller than that of QPSK case at α≠0. |
