Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Fiber-optic link for microwave or millimeter-wave signal transmission has been demonstrated, because of its fine characteristics such as wide-band,low loss and transparency. This report proposes a radio-optic conversion method using an electro-optic effect, which converts digital modulated radio signals into digital modulated light and enables coherent optical transmission.Furthermore, applying this method to fiber-optic microcellular system, the transmission Characteristics of digital modulated radio signals is theoretically investigated.
