Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)signal is very sensitive to nonlinear amplification because of the high dynamics. This paper shows that the simulation results of the bit error rate performance fit the experimental data when the silicon device is used for nonlinear amplifier. The simulation is based on the functions derived the gain and phase shift characteristics. Also, the influence on BER performance and the suitable backoff level are showed by this simulation for typical TWT amplifier. Finally, the degradation caused by the gain and phase shift characteristics respectively is discussed.
