Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to improve the bit-error-rate(BER)degradation caused by frequency selective fading on high speed digital mobile radios, diversity reception using jitters of detector outputs is proposed. In this paper,a jitters detection technique which uses the timing of the zero-cross point of the detector output and the recovered clock, and the correlation between the BER and jitters, are described. Then,in a multipath environment, the BER performance of the diversity reception using jitters is improved compared with that using received power.
