Performance of local frequency offset space diversity for 16 star QAM

Abstract(in English) As a bandwidth-efficient digital modulation scheme,16 star QAM has been attracting much attention for mobile radio applications because of its applicability of differential detection.On the other hand,local frequency offset space diversity,in which the signals from two branches are summed without cophasing is effective to mitigate the effect of multipath fading.In this paper, the local frequency offset space diversity is applied to 16 star QAM.The performances under Rayleigh fading are given by computer simulations.
