Abstract(in English) In this paper,we discuss a method of an image data transmission forthe Hokkaido integrated telecommnication network via communication satellite.To transmit a digital image data,it is necessary to compress the image data because′the amount ofdigital image data are huge in conventional method.The climates with heavy snowfall as Hokkaido,BER(Bit Error Rate)became high level by not only rain attenuation but also snow attenuation and so on.Then,we examine an influence of transmission error for a compressed image and a holographic image.The non answer packet communication method used to this study is effective to the transmission delay on using a communication satellite.
