| 抄録(和) | 本稿では、インマルサットシステムが採用している移動体衛星通信システムのネットワーク構成と各構成要素の働きについて説明し、次にインマルサットが既にサービスを提供しているアナログ及びディジタルシステム、あるいは現在開発中の主だったインマルサット標準システムの技術的特徴を中心に説明する。更に、21世紀までの導入を目指したインマルサットプロジェクト21計画のもとで検討されている、グローバルパーソナル衛星通信サービスの提供を可能とするインマルサットーPシステムについても紹介する。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper reviews the present status of Inmarsat systems including currently operating and under developing Inmarsat standard systems both for providing various mobile satellite communications services to maritime,aeronautical and land users. This paper also introduces the Inmarsat-P system using hand-held terminals which is one of a family of personal mobile satellite communications services.Commercial introduction of Inmarsat-P system is targeted for around the turn of the 21 st century. |
