| Abstract(in English) | This paper reviews the present status of Inmarsat systems including currently operating and under developing Inmarsat standard systems both for providing various mobile satellite communications services to maritime,aeronautical and land users. This paper also introduces the Inmarsat-P system using hand-held terminals which is one of a family of personal mobile satellite communications services.Commercial introduction of Inmarsat-P system is targeted for around the turn of the 21 st century. |
