Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a selective-repeat hybrid-ARQ protocol for multidestination satellite communications, on which foward channel is a satellite channel and the feedback channel is a terrestrial computer network. In this report, the protocol is simulated and tested in environments that each reciever's round-trip-delay is different and packetted loss exists in the feedback channel. In this case, if no answer returns from recievers after a fixed time, the packet is retransmitted. Optimum timeout period is studied for various round-trip-delay time.
