Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An optimum filtering scheme that is theoretically derived in linear modulation channels which employ a transmitter of PABF (power amplification before filtering) configuration is approximated by digital filters which are designed with frequency sampling method. Frequency/power trade-off characteristic of a QPSK system using the approximation scheme is numerically calculated and compaired to other filtering schemes. It is shown that the characteristic of the approximation scheme is inferior to the optimum scheme about l.5 dB in the worst case, and that characteristics very close to the optimum scheme can be obtained by choosing suitable roll-off factor.
