Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Aiming at future multi-media land mobile-satellite services (LMSS) consisting of a large number of non-geostationary earth-orbit satellites,a satellite diversity scheme which can realize high service availability and signal quality is discussed. Through the extension of the three-state LMSS propagation channel model previously proposed, we developed a state transition model for assessing non-fade duration characteristics in the case of satellite diversity based on a Markov model. A simulation algorithm of the state transition characteristics is proposed and demonstrated.
