Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new method for deriving error probabilities in spread-spectrum communications instead of the theoretical calculation and the Gaussian approximation method. The proposed method takes advantage of replacing the multiple integration required in the theoretical calculation by the convolution of amplitude probability density of interference signals. It is found obvious that the metod have reliability and acuracy by the coincidence with simulation result in the wide range of Eb/N0, while the approximate results have a difference with simulated result in the high Eb/N0 range. In conclusion, the proposed method have merits of resolving a difficulty to calculate theoretical value and an inaccuracy in the Gaussian approximation.
