A Study on Transmission Models of Personal Satellite Communication Systems employing LEO Satellites

Abstract(in English) The reliability of communication employing LEO satellites depends upon shadowing caused by the mobility of terminals and satellites. In this study, we had some experiments of shadowing in the field derived visibility and perspective continuation angle. With those data, the results of computer simulation for LEO satellites system are introduced. We also present new satellite-hand-over scheme with doppler effect for the system in order to improve the reliability.
