A Study of Digital SNG Transmission System : Performance Evaluation by Satellite Field Tests

Abstract(in English) We have conducted field tests via a domestic Ku-band satellite to evaluate the performance of the developed an experimental digital SNG transmission system with variable information/FEC coding rates control (IFRC) system. In this paper, we describes the field test results and the study results of the code interleaving to improve the outer FEC performance by using the actual measured data.
