Abstract(in English) | Personalization in satellite communications is going forward. One is the geo-stationary satellite based personal telephone. which will be realized by using multi-beam satellite with large deployable antenna, high power transmitter and onboard personal switches. The other is the satellite global phone service which is realized by LEO system with many low-earth orbiting satellites, large number of phased array multi-beams and gateway stations to the land-lines. In this lecture, trends of satellite communication services by using multi-beams are surveyed and also technological development status in that field will be summarized. |
