Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Transmission-line resonators with impedance step (SIRs), which basic structures are derived from λ g/4,λ g/2,λ g type resonator, have been proposed and practical application using SIRs have been also reported for each type of structures. This paper, firstly, summarizes their fundamental structures and characteristics such as resonance conditions, resonator length, spurious response and equivalent circuit. Secondly, practical application, which make noise of structural features of 3- types of SIR, are reviewed respectively. Finally, new concepts of SIR with novel structure or composite materials are introduced and their practical usefulness is discussed.
