| Abstract(in English) | In-orbit tests of the multi-beam fixed and mobile communication on-board transponders on KIKU 6 were carried out at the NTT Yokosuka experimental earth station. Test items are input/output characteristics, frequency/amplitude responses, etc. KIKU 6 was failed to be injectecd to an intended geo-stationary orbit. So the performance tests were rather difficult but test results show that measured data are nearly equal to ground test data. It is verified that the fixed communication transponders including a satellite switch, and the mobile communication transponders including a multi-port amplifier, are operating normally in space after launch. |
