Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Antenna and Multi-Carrier Pre-Diversity System using Time Division Duplex (TDD) in Selective Fading Channel is proposed to combat with multi-path Rayleigh fading environments which produce frequency-selective fading and degrade the quality of signal transmission. To solve this problem multi-carrier modulation technique has been considered recently. On the other hand, TDD system has been studied to reduce the complexity of mobile systems and to use Pre-Diversity as a transmitter antenna diversity against flat fading. The next fading patterns in the transmitted signal is estimated by utilizing the correlation between the fading patterns on TDD forward and reverse links. Merging the two systems produces the effect of Pre-Diversity against the multi-path fading environments, because suitable sub-carriers are assigned to the respective antennas. This paper shows the effectiveness of the proposed system by computer simulation.
