Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper studies an integrated voice and data PRMA wireless network. In particular, we consider acknowledgment (ACK) schemes for ARQ control over downlink data transmission, which have not been handled so far, and propose three ACK schemes. Through simulation, we evaluate the performance of the system using one of the three methods ; for purposes of ACK, each terminal constructs ACK packets each of which contains of ACKs for a certain number of downlink data packets and trasnmit the ACK packets on the uplink channel in the same way as data packets. Numerical results show that the performance strongly depends on the number of ACKs included in an ACK packet. We also clarify the importance of the effect of the downlink transmission on the performance.
