Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper,we propose a positioning scheme to incorporate radio-determination into mobile communications with multiple low- orbital satellites. The proposed positioning scheme shall be operable where a single satellite is visible from each mobile terminal. This paper evaluates characteristics of the scheme in terms of positioning errors, areas available for positioning and time period required for positioning. To improve the accuracy,a differential positioning scheme is also adopted and its effectiveness is discussed.
