Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Theoretical analysis is done on the response of a cross-product frequency discriminator to an incident PSK signal corrupted with random noise. The autocorrelation function of the output random components is derived and discussed. It is shown that the signal X signal component, which gives the pattern jitter, exists in QPSK. The power spectral density and the variance of the frequency fluctuation in an AFC loop are calculated for a rectangular pulse case. Some numerical examples are also shown.
