Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have presented previously a general design principle of dielectric multi-layer bandpass filters in optical wavelength and have derived three practical design methods of such filters and neccesary design equations. In this paper, comparison of the three methods are examined in terms of design accuracy and number of films with many design examples of Chebyshev filters consisting of SiO_2 and TiO_2 films in 1.3μm wavelength region. It has been observed that the third method, the most soplusticated one, gives the, best accuracy, while the first method, the most simple one, gives the smallest number of films.
