Abstract(in English) This paper studies a contention-based reservation protocol with a TDD(Time Division Duplex)channel,which is refered to as the TDD ALOHA-Reservation protocol,for a wireless local area network(LAN) in the presense of transmission errors.The TDD ALOHA-Reservation protocol is suitable for the transmission of packets between a base station and wireless terminals in a microcell.By simulation, we evaluate the performance of TDD ALOHA-Reservation in terms of throughput and average message delay for various values of packet error rate under several traffic conditions.We also examine how the ratio of the control channel capacity to data channel capacity affects-the performance of this protocol.
