Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper,we propose a multiuser detection system using a recurrent neural network in asynchronouscode-division multiple access communications, and evaluate its performances by computer simulations. It is shown that a recurrent neural network(RNN)is applicable to multiuser detection since the multiuser detection can be regarded as an optimization problem.Since the number of units in RNN is proportinal to the number of users, the proposed system issimpler than the optimal receiver. In various situations, the proposed system is compared with a conventional receiver and an optimum receiver, and it is shown that the bit error rate characteristics of the proposed system are nearly equal to those of the optimum receiver.
