Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel switch configuration has been proposed. The switch is composed of a FET and a inductor line which is placed inside the FET. The operation principle has been explained with the aid of the equivalent circuit model of the switch. By using this circuit, the relationship between the equivalent circuit parameters and the switch characteristics, such as isolation or return loss, has been presented. An SPST switch operating at millimeter-wave band has been fabricated. The measured switch characteristics indicate the effectiveness of the configuration presented here.
