Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With respect to the interconnection of lumped and distributed multi-branch networks, the derivation of network functions is discussed. Network functions of lower branch number can easily be derived from that of maximum branch number. The insertion of fictitious transmission lines and methods of interconnection of multi-branch networks are described. A coupled-line section can be treated as a multi-branch network by applying the voltage scattering matrix and by connecting the fictitious transmission line. Numerical examples of a multi-stage distributed network and an interconnected multi-branch network including a coupled-line section are described.
