| Abstract(in English) | New SAW filter configurations used in an antenna duplexer which is applied to GHz-band digital cellular radios have been developed. During testing on the 1.5-GHz Personal Digital Cellular system in Japan, we achieved low insertion losses of 0.8 and 1.6 dB for the transmitter final-stage filter and the receiver top filter, respectively. The developed duplexer is 1.4×0.6×0.2cm, several times smaller than a conventional dielectric-filter type duplexer. It also satisfies all required specifications and provides sufficient power-handling capabilities. |
