On Packet Detection Method using Code Matching in Spread Spectrum Communications

Abstract(in English) A packet detection method for spread spectrum packet communications is discussed, in which a packet arrival timing is detected by applying signal processing such as complex conjugate multiplication and code matching to output signal from matched filter, including a predetermined bit pattern in each packet header. The performance obtained by computer simulation is also demonstrated and evaluated in terms of packet detection probability.
