Abstract(in English) In mobile satellite communications, integration techniques are essential in order to achieve miniaturization and cost reduction of mobile terminals. The report addressed here describes a baseband processing scheme which has been developed as a software of a DSP. The described baseband processor operates most of processes collectively in time of a frame. The authors have developed the baseband processor with reducing its processing load to only 8 MIPS and a little at most. The described baseband processor is employed by the mobile terminal for the North American mobile satellite communication network, integrating with a demodulator in one DSP.
