Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The discussion of stability for radar tracking using the α-β-γ filter is presented. It is reported that α-β filter is stable if the value of gain α and β is positive and is smaller than 1.In this paper, we present that α-β-γ filter is not always stable even when the value of gain α, β and γ is positive and is smaller than 1.We also show that there exist three different stable α-β-γ filters which are derived from Kalman filter equations or fading memory filter equations.
