Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Broadcasting satellites have been co-located in the box of 110 deg±0.1deg east longitude and neighboring longitude. After a participation of successor Direct Broadcasting Satellite BSAT-1a into 110 deg±0.1deg from last August, TAO KSCC(Kimitsu Satellite Control Center)placed maneuvers for crossing of orbital position among 3a, 3b and 3N considering the completion of broadcasting service and the priority of standby satellites.Co-located four satellites have been repositioned since then. This time TAO used optical observation system with a reflecting telescope and a CCD camera to verify the satellite proximity distance during crossing period to exclude the ambiguity of different ranging measurement and orbit determining systems between 3a/3b and 3N.This paper describes the employed crossing of E/I separation method and the result of measurement with optical observation system.
