Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Digital watermark is one of the recently remarkable technology for preventing from infringement of the copyrights for digital data. We have presented a method of digital watermark for image signal by using filter banks. In this method, information data can be embedded into one of the subband signals, and extracted by using the detection filter which is designed by solving the linear programming problem Information data can be embedded in the low frequency domain, which is usually said not to be good. In this paper, we discuss the robustness of our method on image compressing and present a digital watermark which can endure image compressing with JPEG. We have confirmed this by numerical simulation with image signals.
