Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Digital watermark technology is now drawing the attention as a new method of insisting on copyrights for digital data. It is realized by embedding information data with an insensible form for human audio/visual systems. In this paper, we consider how to embed binary pattern information as digital watermark, and present two methods; One is based on multiresolution representation of binary pattern the other is based on shuffling the order of embedding binary pattern data. We show the effect of these methods that binary pattern is detected and restored from a part of an image with watermark, and compare these methods. Further, we discuss the influence of noise upon the restored binary pattern.
