Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Combating the signal distortion due to fading is essential in order to improve the performance of mobile communications. In this paper, under frequency-selective fading conditions, we propose an adaptive channel selection (ACS) scheme where the least affected channel is selected according to current channel condition estimated by decision error. This selected frequency channel corresponds with the channel in which the delayed signals add-up inphase. Hence, BER performance is improved with the proposed scheme. Computer simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme for a system with multiple terminals and a cellular system.
