Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes and discusses empirical line-of-sight path loss model for microcellular mobile communications systems in which the base station's antenna is low. Measurements were performed in the center of Tokyo, using the 3.35, 5.20, and 8.45GHz. Path loss data were measured under the several different conditions which include base station antenna height, mobile station antenna height, the width of the street, and the density of the traffic on the street. Using the model and parameter listed in this paper, it is possible to obtain the path loss in the line-of-sight microcellular environment.
