Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents adaptive algorithms, which can solve the multiple access interference (MAI) problem and the near-far problem by using the variable step gain (VS), based on Blind projaction algorithm (BPA) in DS/CDMA. To begin with, we make use of the technique to suppress MAI by BPA which does not involve training mode and uses the norm of the error function without the desired signal. Furthermore, we improve the convergence speed and the convergence accuracy in the BPA by using the VS. On the other hand we add the term of the mean output magunitude (MOM) to the error function to solve the near-far problem. And we adapt the VS to the BPA which adaptively minimizes the MOM. The computer simulations for the signal-to-interference-ratio (SIR) value and the bit-error-rate (BER) value show that the bit-error rate of the proposed algorithms is better than one of the conventional BPA, the bit-error accuracy of the proposed algorithms is as the same as one of the conventional BPA, and the convergence speed of the proposed algorithms is faster than one of the conventional BPA.
