Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a Tap Coefficient Shift Maximum Likelihood Symbol Candidate Estimator as a received signal estimation method realizing excellent compensation capability against multipath distortion. This method adopts symbol-by-symbol maximum likelihood estimation scheme based on a structure introducing symbol candidates and decision feedback data for precursor and postcursor estimation, respectively. This structure can realize small amount of hardware by reducing amount of calculation for the estimation. Moreover, the proposed method improves performance degradations caused by not adopting a decision mechanism based on MLSE. As the result of computer simulation, this method can suppress performance degradation from DDFSE less than 2.5dB of E_b/N_o.
