Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, DBF (Digital Beam Forming) of adaptive arrays based on digital signal processing is widely paid attention. The RLS algorithm, one of adaptive algorithms, is attractive due to its robustness and fast convergence. However, the RLS algorithm costs heavy computational load. In this paper, we propose to apply the beam space configuration to RLS (Recursive Least Square) adaptive array in order to reduce the computational loads and to improve the convergence. Futhermore, it is shown that the RLS adaptive array can be employed in the TDMA system by using preambles in the bursts as the reference signal.
