Abstract(in English) | While the network demands are heavily increasing, Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology is promised to be used in the next generation backbone. In this paper, a method to get network capacity and path information from given network demand, which is required to design a network using both of the existing path-layer (TDM) network and optical path-layer (WDM) network, is proposed. Moreover, some investigations about the behavior of the both layers based on the result of applying this method. |
