Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Intersatellite link is an essential key technology for realizing global communications without relay earth stations in satellite networks consisting of low earth orbit satellites. The establishment of intersatellite links between satellites would depend on two factors; the distance between the satellites and the tracking ability to other satellites. Assuming that the low earth orbit satellite network consists of 60 satellites on various circular orbits with the height of 1,681km above the earth and that the intersatellite link is established between the satellites within the distance of 6,000 km, this paper presents quantatively the number of intersatellite links to be established in terms of the tracking ability, and indicates as an example result that the distance becomes a dominant factor for the tracking angular velocity greater than 3 degrees/10 sec.
