Satellite Cluster Systems with Cotrolled Output Power in the Uplinks

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider a satellite cluster system using slotted ALOHA with controlled output power in the uplinks and employing the TDM in the inter satellite links (ISL) and the downlinks. We illustrate the throughput-delay characteristics of the proposed system obtained by computer simulations, and show that the performance of this system is superior to that of systems using the slotted ALOHA in the uplinks. We also consider the influence of the buffer size in the satellite.
