Abstract(in English) | A binary sequence is called even-shift orthogonal sequence, when its non-periodic autocorrelation function is 0 for every even-shift term except for 0-shift term. Two even-shift orthogonal sequences are called a couple of even-shift cross-orthogonal sequences, when their non-periodic crosscorrelation function is 0 for every even-shift term. A modulation using a couple of even-shift cross-orthogonal sequences is discussed. The modulated signal has very good burst-noise tolerance, although the modulated signal has the same power and the same information transmission rate as the original signal. On the other hand, the modulated signal has only the same tolerance as the original signal, when the noise is white Gaussian noise. |
