Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An ultra low-noise and highly selective, experimental 2 GHz-band cryogenic-receiver front-end (CRFE) has been newly developed for mobile radio base stations utilizing a specially designed high-temperature superconducting filter, newly developed cryogenic, very low-noise amplifier and highly reliable, compact cryostat. The equivalent noise temperature of the CRFE is less than 100 K (1.3 dB of NF). A suburban area field test confirms total equivalent noise temperature under 363 K using the CRFE and a 2 GHz-band base station colinear array antenna.
