Abstract(in English) Remote surface inspection is one of the most important technology to maintain space infrastructure. Because this "rescue satellite" must be able to detect small flaws on other satellites, in this paper we propose a flaw detection technique using visual information obtained from multiple viewpoints by using a camera with a manipulator. The technique will be tested during the Manipulator Flight Demonstration mission that will be launched in 1997.
